Think your absolutely correct…. They threw the towel in at trial not only because it was a planed delay but they now had the unofficial justification ( all female jury) and they saw they were not being revived well by the jury. So they won some time……. Wrong reason….. the next jury will not be the same configuration…. That’s what Cox won If this is not settled a jury verdict will definitely be appealed…. Add 12 months for appeal ruling & then scotus add at least 12 more months. The defense / indemnification will fight not to lose several billion
