Yes, cancer cells love, love, love sugar. Can't live without it, you're right. I set about to starve them out five years ago, the day I was diagnosed. Although I knew I would refuse chemo, I did go along with further tests, to determine if it had spread, etc.

They performed a PET scan. First, an injection of purple sugar water into the veins, wait about 35-40 minutes, then into the tube for the scan/images. The sugar would be attracted to tumors, if any, or would show spreading, if any.

So, they know cancer feeds on it, sugar is drawn to cancer cells, and yet, never heard any advice to cut it out.only wanted to fast track me into chemo, two rounds, and then a bone marrow transplant.

Even though I never planned on taking the traditional treatment, I did attend a few support groups, where deserts and sugary drinks were served. Yeah.......huh?

I was told that what I have is not curable, but is treatable.....and they sure wanted to treat it....forever. $$$$$$$$.

I feel like my forever would have been a short time, though......still hundreds of thousands for those involved in the treatment, I'm sure. The PET scan alone was .over $22,000.00. Insurance paid most of it.......of course.

Anyway, hoping you never have to turn to any treatment,
or protocol, because you never get "the news". Thank you......
