They froze blood samples from patients to use in future analysis, like inflammatory biomarkers other than hs-CRP, and things like AA levels - to date they have yet to analyze that blood and publish a paper with results. I assume they didn't measure things like EPA/AA on the fly because when they started the trial that test wasn't readily available - don't forget a large % of the patient population was in Eastern Europe, like Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Poland.
