Your first mistake is believing what they say. You cannot rewrite history and forget all the self imposed deadlines they have missed.

If coming months had a standard accepted definition in terms of a number of months, I would agree with you. Instead it is another deliberately fuzzy term that sets us up for another can kick. If they answered real questions they would be able to later say “By coming months we meant 24 months”
