There are two types of action that I have observed over the years regarding significant events of stocks. One is that price move up in anticipation of news and that is a "tell" which I'm looking for and another type is that those in the know try to depress the price before news hits to shake out weak holders. I'm hoping to see the former so long shareholders are not shaken out in a moment of weakness before the main event.
