Gorsuch stated that a full remedy would be a tough pill for the court to swallow which means they had already discussed the case prior to argument in December. They still are at odds if it is taking them this long.
it is irrelevant that the Gov't took over $300B from the GSE's via the NWS and the principal balance of the bailout remains unchanged (for those looking for a name for that, it's "loan sharking"), the Government will not rule adversely against itself.
