Settlement is always the best option unless you have a slam dunk case in your favor. Attorney fees and a possible judgement that far exceeds the settlement are too big of a risk. Koos did the right thing and he just put another piece into the almost-finished puzzle.

Most settlements there id no admission of fault. Going to court is silly, expensive and time consuming. We are talking business not principles

Or a business decision. Let's see, I can settle for $100k and get a no fault agreement or NDA. Or I can go to court and spend $500k. Hmm, which do I choose if I am selling the company.

Where's the facts? You don't have any. Your comment is all speculation based on your personal goals of a smaller sp.

We don't know the details. Maybe Koos is innocent, maybe not. What we do know is that the lawsuit doesn't help what ever plans he has, so it's time to settle.
