To clear the air.........There is no current indication of a reverse split, and a company can't do one without notifying the shareholders in advance. So there would be no sudden surprise.

If a company is required to file reports with the SEC, it may notify its shareholders of a reverse stock split on Forms 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K. A non-reporting company is required to notify the public through its current report filings on the OTC Markets website.)
So, once again, there is nothing indicating that a reverse split is planned, they would notify you in advance, and you don't need to do a special DD search to validate this.
