VirTra has my email blocked and will not take my calls.
We the shareholders should not have to “do research” to figure out what is going on.
Ferris reads this message board every day. Always has.
Yep, his backlog statement could have been aimed at May or even June and not the March-end number.
And Ardly, you hit the nail on the head with “altruistic”. The part that Ferris does not understand or conveniently ignore is that VirTra products would help more people if they were in the hands of more people. In other words, more sales, faster growth, would benefit society more than slow and steady wins the race.
VirTra is EXACTLY the same as Fonar, FONR. Very sad.

SharpchiCity,

Ivas is one part of many to create the synthetic training environment. Look into IVAS / SIVT(Soldier immersive Virtual Trainer) and STE-LTS FOF

both these solutions need accurate and realistic training weapons, scenario generation and feedback.

recommend watching this video from late last year.

THE ATMP contract is for maintenance of old legacy system....lots of them. The biggest hurdle to this contract is all the different vendors, and platforms are different making it very difficult to service. I'm doubtful ATMP authorized significant upgrades to the training simulators. I hope I'm wrong but don't think VirTra gets anything from it.

Scroll down to the link for statement of objectives and read what was required in 2018 with Microsoft on that contract. Search on the word “recoil.” I think you’ll see that IVAS is most likely substantially more than just a headset.
