That's terrible reg2015. I would call both the bank and the police immediately. The sooner the better IMO.

I hope & pray that the money will be fully recovered, and the perpetrators will be found and punished.

Reg, your money in the bank is insured up to $250,000 dollars. Work with the bank and you should have no issues with recovery of funds. FDIC insured. Every bank. God Bless and send me a message if you hit a road block!!

Reg2015, Something similar happened to me a few years ago. Someone was using ATMs to drain my bank account without my knowledge. After several successful attempts by the perpetrator, I was notified by the security dept at the bank. When I told them it couldn't possibly be me because I was over 50 miles from the area, they told me my funds would be restored and I would be issued a new card. My account was credited within 24 hours.

And, lucky me. Someone has stolen funds belonging to me, again. Currently I'm going thru the process of trying to get my EIP3 check. I never received the check but someone cashed it. I have to submit a claims package which includes samples of my signature for signature analysis. As I stated, I'm in the midst of this process so I don't know the outcome.

I hope your daughter has no problems in getting her funds restored soon. As someone previously stated, bank accounts are insured.
