It's so true! And within this next generation alone I honestly see stem cells advancing to the point where we really are going to see humanity have extended lives opposed to succumbing to disease, with full diseased organ replacements giving them extended lives.
I also expect we're less than 100 years away from being half android as a race, provided the dumb dumbs in power don't bring on WW III. Had to insert some sci-fi in here...but the advancements in computing power and robotics really are going to be moving at warp speed over the next 100 years alone...and I also expect the secrets of humanity's DNA to be fully solved to the point where people will be living 800 year lives again, just like what's stated back in the bible times lol.
Humanity's collective powers of consciousness are combining with the increasing computing powers with each passing generation...and what was once deemed sci-fi will eventually become tomorrow's fact based reality!
We're a species with amnesia, but it's not hard to predict the future by simply viewing what the great sci-fi authors over the many decades already wrote...some of whom have already proven to be more than prophetic with their manifestation of humanity's reality we're already living in!
Drone package deliveries for example, cell phones etc...all predicted as part of humanity's future in early sci-fi books, are already today's reality is all I'm saying.
