The cell phone industry is like to implement TPM functions into an existing chip that is already on cell phones. I believe Wave is marketing their Embassy OS/firmware to the cell phone industry as a way for the cell phone industry to make an existing chip in the cell phones the ability to make it TCG compliant and programmable. With new cell phones models coming out every 6 months or so, I understand the cell phone industry moves much faster than the PC industry. So, in my opinion, it won't be years before someone has TCG compliance in cell phones. I would not be surprised to see the first phones with TPM's in them in 2004 or 2005.
