Margins are risky, stock market gonna pop soon enough, when those calls come due, pay up or lose big, had a lot of friends about 20yrs ago unable to make their margin calls when it popped, was not good

I am not sure. One guy was just complaining about a buy not going through when he had the money to cover it in the account, and another guy said it was because TD had raised the margin percentage requirement.
