there are plenty of businesses all over the country that fail to keep their state corporate status updated but are still "operating." it's slack, but it happens all the time. that is not anything that proves they are not "operating." and it is why the nevada sos has a penalty for companies that do operate without proper licensure. but, again, that does not mean there are not operations, which is what blakely was making the point about yesterday.
