In my next life, I will invent a smart computer and program it with machine learning software where all the doctor (PA) has to do is input patient's data (lab data will automatically populate) and that computer (call in Raf System, Inc., in honor of yours truly) goes through millions of algorithms from all the FDA-approved drugs to suggest the best medicine for each specific patient.
This would remove the harm that stupid and lazy doctors would cause by prescribing crap like Lovaza. This super computer would obviously weigh benefits v risks and spit out the best solutions, as a recommendation. Of course doctors would have the final say, but would have to document why they disagreed with "Raf".
I can virtually guarantee than there would be 0 Lovaza recommendations by the "Raf".
Ok, which one of you wise guys is going to tell me that such system already exists?
