While NP would like things to go a certain way, he is NOT currently running the universe. In spite of leronlimab's success in the Philippines, Cytodyn now must wait for a bureaucracy that appears to lose races to slow snails.
Cito Beltran, a broadcasting personality, penned an editorial on the woes of the Philippine FDA. Their FDA has an accumulation of stuff to deal with going back to 2013. Unless there is some heavy pressure from "on high" don't expect a speedy response.
Cito posted this editorial May 14, 2021, I think it was entitled "Criminal Delays."
While this is, to put it mildly, rather disappointing, I think the Philippine "experience" has served to be an "objective Proving Ground!"
If there were any doubts about the efficacy of leronlimab, they are now totally gone. No one from the US was involved, no "fiddling with the outcomes, doctoring results and/ or that kind of BS." LERONLIMAB clearly works and is demonstrating it on a WORLD STAGE.
Whether the Filipinos get their act together to do an EUA this century is anybody's guess. I hope for their sake they do, but now the Leronlimab genie is "out of the bottle." It appears MacLeod's took notice, and others will as well.
