Not certain if that makes sense ....once a doc start writing an RX they usually dont stop - ie it has become part of their protocol. UNless the med is replaced by something better the doc usually continues to Rx - ie I have been writing lipitor and crestor for years .

SO I dont see Rx s falling that much without sales reps - established users continue using without rep visit.

SOlutions :

1.) Revamp Marketing - forget omega 3 forget fish oil call it a statin enhancer
2.) Utilize resources to make insurers aware of infringement on REDUCE IT Criteria
a.) Introduction letter meeting
b.) Gentle reminder that infringement on patents is illegal
c.) Legal action

3.) Quit these 1980' mailers to doctors what a total wast of money
4.) Use media to our advantage instead of detriment hire biotech writers
5.) Start educating the public on the value of a statin enhancer
6.) Gently remind doctors that if you are only prescribing a statin you may not be offering your patient the best protection against CAD
