And don't forget the revolving door from the SEC to cushy six-figure jobs on Wall Street. Many at the SEC are looking out for their friends, future employment, and a nice retirement, not the public interest.

Why did the SEC go after ENRON? Simple reason is that the PRESS got on it and they had to due to PUBLIC PRESSURE. We just haven't had a sensational enough pressentation to the PUBLIC> Wonder why that is?
