Let me add that this article is a sponsored article and may contain some exaggeration as well. I am uncertain what a license from the Govt means, in US terms it simply means the Company has been approved for this type of farming and infrastructure work, this may be no more than a ‘contractors’ license. There is no mention of a Melabis ‘permit’ issued which is necessary to proceed. ‘Permit’ is internationally understood as being necessary to begin any type of project, especially involving ecological and environmental issues involving surface and subsurface drainage , irrigation and water usage , roads, etcetc!!
It may well be that the Vics contract is with Melabis as well. There are no sirens going off , just a little needed update re if the wheels are turning and in which direction. The silence may be mandatory per a permit review period or agreement with other parties/partners.
