December 2020 - Targeting the orphan nuclear receptor NR2F6 in T cells primes tumors for immune checkpoint therapy
As a pre-clinical proof of concept, this establishes NR2F6 as a promising cancer therapeutic candidate target and NR2F6 inhibition as a sensitizing concept for next-generation immune-oncology regimens. From a clinical perspective, if valid, such combinatorial immunotherapy regimens including NR2F6 gene-edited ACTs are likely to strengthen the portfolio of precision medicine applications for the successful development of personalized cancer immune therapy for improving patient survival.
