and for a lot less money, you can get the Sandisk, Philips, or any other device, and they all are equal, or better than the ipod...the ipod is an over-priced ego piece now.....avoid the hard-drive based untis...go with flash based, you can get an 8GB flash unit fairly cheap BTW, the stores make almost no margin on the hardware, but get 40-45 points(or more) on the accessories.

Cassy, I've bought both of my daughters ipods, one has a 20 gig, like mine and my oldest got a 30 gig video....I download the Office on it weekly and surprisingly it is not hard to watch. My wife has a 30 gig video that she never uses, why I don't know. I've given 30 gig video pods to two of my employees as Xmas gift and back to school gift.

I also have an O1000 and was very happy with that, but with a family of Podster's, that's back in the drawer.

I have over 2500 songs on mine and still have room for 4000 to 5000 more.........well, I have to go get my daughter.
