Ski-T, Big Booths are quite expensive to build...ridunculous. You can build a house for cheaper. Maybe not in this market though. It is a racket. Personally, I would have built a 16x16 booth to begin with and run with that for a while, but LP thinks BIG and she prepped for big things early before changing course. It is much cheaper to pay the mark up to the congress than to build and store another booth.

As far as presentation vs poster, that ship has sailed. Posters titles were released with everything else. The good news is that LBAs are presentations and are very well attended.

Which comes back to the drum I just can’t stop beating. I just can’t help myself, what can I say...I have passion. Journal articles are read buy some clinicians and are historical reference for all to see. This is good stuff and eventually a necessary step for a product that you want to promote. But congresses and particularly ASCO, have the interest of many including and especially the lay, financial, and medical press.

I am no trading expert but it appears to me that we do not have enough buy side interest to keep the shorts from their endless games. To me, we need press coverage and we need financial analysts and we need everything else that ASCO offers but a journal cannot. Even among physicians, readership ain’t what it used to be.

I have faith that LP knows what she is doing and even if she does not, I know that LL does. Just look at what she is doing. She is more than just a student of the game, she is a captain.

ASCO...we got this!
