#185983 RE: janice shell #185957

I once had a neighbor (Richard - now dead) who decided with his wife (both in their 60s) that they no longer wished to live together. Richard had been a small time property developer and had built a house for him and his wife and another one on an adjacent parcel as a rental home and then hopefully for one of their kids to live in when he and his wife got old and decrepit.

Well, they decided to nott gett divorced, they were still very good friends and had been married for many decades. Richard simply moved into his rental home and lived separately next door to his wife. He would do home repairs on her house and maintain the property. They would still have occasional or even regular dinners at each other's home, or go outt together. They were good friends butt decided they would rather live apart and avoid the 'too close, too much, too often' syndrome.

They lived next door to each other for many years until Richard died.

Billy and Melinda have plenny of munny. I wonder why they didnt choose the same course. Assuming they are still gut friends. Build two houses and each of them getts one. Bill learns to wash his own socks and Melinda getts to spend hours in the bathroom. Makes Christmas and Thanksgiving a lott easier. The kids and grandkids dont have to choose.
