The simplest answer is normally right. Everyone gives Missling credit for as your say strategic advantage, blah, blah, blah. I say the answer is he doesn't have squat or at best a confusing answer and doesn't know what to do except delay. My bet is we never get full PDD results.

abew4me

We had excellent results from the PDD study...and we had to wait beyond the planned release for that as well.

Is it possible that TGD is waiting for the PDD peer-reviewed article to come out with the rest of the data before he releases the results on the Rett study?

If so, what strategic advantage would that give us?

This is probably as close to an explanation for the timing as anything we are going to see, IMO. If results were weak/thin/inconclusive from a trial operational stand point, then we would have a do over of some kind and we would be informed by now. (not what we want but legitimate non the less)

If (on the other hand) the goal was (based on strong data) sufficient to claim proof of the AVXL S1R MOA then waiting to get all the bits and pieces makes sense. That takes time and is orders of magnitude more detailed and complex than a one of a kind (AD/PDD/RSD/other) CNS disease trial.

So, we go beyond one trial, or claim as the facts present. Required Time is building in direct correlation to the impact of the findings, snow ball vs avalanche- He has an obligation to properly complete his story. IMO. The results will compile and will present a much bigger question than a direct (PDD or AD or RSD ) trial results claim. Then what do you do? If you are a responsible leader and have a distinct (MOA) point to make then you must do a proper job of summation.

So, does it suck that such things occur in the process of doing breakthroughs? YES, it does. But once you get in the middle of it you have no choice but to finish it up correctly. My guess is some of these details being learned-linked must be like eating jelly beans. How do you know when to call it a scientific finding/fact? You must recognize that no matter what you say your claims will be picked at for the next decade or so. When is the soup done?

Whatever the news is, it is positive and the wait will be well worth the time.
