PD, this is what I fear if the result of COVID trial is excellent. I feel modest result is better for AMRN.

Pharmacydude, If future variants of Covid-19 evolve to render Vaccines
we are taking today ineffective, then at some point the health authorities
might figure out that certain things work to reduce the harm such as
Vascepa and Vitamin D. Why India did not engage in a special program
to supplement its population with Vitamin D (since they are deficient)
is astounding. Vitamin D is cheap and available. Should Vascepa prove
to afford extra protective benefits (as I think we both believe it will)
then the question becomes what is the best way to market it for that
purpose, and where and how will that be done?

Is there any way or chance that Vascepa could receive an emergency use
authorization for Covid-19? If so what might that look like? Are
there any countries where such authorization could be had besides the
US?
