This will drop on Monday no matter what. If by some miracle the Linden settlement goes through, it would give WDDD a lifeline of cash but will still be overshadowed by the recent events here. I said this many times as well in the past. The longer this case takes the greater the possibility for something to go wrong. Simply more obstacles in the path.
I also advised that the IPRs are used by the defendants in patent cases to derail the process. Rather than simply getting their day in Court it extends the timeline, thereby delaying a Court hearing and bleeds the small companies out. Steps like this are added to the process to protect companies like google. The excuse is patent litigation is so expensive and it cuts costs. For who? Its big companies that are mostly using tech w/o paying for it. Its simply another obstacle for the little company to overcome. Of course the pushback on my statement is the IPR establishes an airtight decision with no wiggle room and demonstrates the validity of the IP...only to be derailed by 101.
Despite everything going on here there are those who continue to hold themselves out as experts with their vast knowledge and wisdom of the Court system (despite being wrong about several issues, legal fees being paid by ATVI, locking up 5 million shares to stabilize PPS, why would anyone settle before ATVI, now the 101 issue and buying 70K shares on Friday when he could wait until this week and buy 300K for the same price). Now saying this is great news, case gets moved to TX! Good luck to those following his advice right off the cliff.
