You didn’t expect the banks to pay writers to do hit pieces on Bitcoin? I would expect a whole lot more. It’s the way the world works. Oil companies pay people to write stories about climate change being a hoax, Gold Panda is paid by hedge funds and shorts to write hit pieces on disruptive stocks, and on and on.
It is an interesting article, but with stocks like Ethereum and Doge, you will see them all settle in like gold, silver, and copper type of thing. With the “gold” being a status symbol (BITCOIN), a prized item, and rarely used for spending in bulk. But still very valuable.
