I'm in agreement with you on this. The cop that shot Ma'Khia has seconds to act. He shot well and possibly saved a life.

Here's a video where a taser was first attempted, but failed (which is often the case) however this officer had the time and situational awareness to shoot the women in the leg. He could have shot her in the torso, and would probably been justified by law.

The 2 scenarios are very different however, as was the outcome.
