It’s a reminder that there are rules to go by in my opinion. Obviously these rules were not being followed. So they issue a reminder.... with a deadline. So those caught with their hand in the cookie jar now can’t claim ignorance. Broker or dealer. Those who have kept there nose clean you are correct. No changes
Just my take... but... with all the pending lawsuits for manipulation in the market post-GME..... I would think it put a lot on notice that it’s time to shape up.
I took the notice as.....we told you 6 months ago to clean up your act. We gave you time to square you accounts away. Here is your second notice.....no complaining after 4/21.
