Initially it was a Tinder clone for cannabis users and was buzz-worthy at the time of its launch.

There's that term again. I wonder if by the use of "launch", the meaning was the date on which the app could be downloaded.

According to today's PR:

"we announced that we would be launching Soku in the Apple App Store on April 20, 2021, and we ARE delivering on that promise"

Perhaps "launching but not yet accessible for download" would be the more accurate phrasing?
