I received Pfizer #2 Friday morning courtesy of our non profit bringing it to us. Zero side effects until yesterday afternoon when chills set in out of the blue. Then again today, chills arriving in the afternoon and persisting into the current moment.

I had a lot of spring home chores planned for today but not happening now.

I wonder if there is some additional immune reaction a few weeks out when the vaccine has essentially “taken”?

The only place I could imagine that happening is with the J&J or other Adenovirus vaccine. Where the Adenovirus does manage to replicate, despite being engineered not to, then hides, and comes back.

For the mRNA vaccines the mRNA that gets absorbed into cells doesn't last long , before being either degraded in the cell (e.g. 30 min-24 hr half life), or the cell itself is destroyed by the immune system. Either way there's nothing left from the vaccine to trigger a cytokine reaction 21 days later.

Got tested that morning and came back negative....was fine by noon

Not surprising because if Covid the immune system is in hyper drive for a reaction. Still can't eliminate Flu as a possibility.
