EVs and veganism will not save the planet. Lithium battery degradation is occurring quicker than expected which means battery replacement sooner and more often. Since the bulk of EV emissions come from battery that means greater CO2 release over the lifetime of the car. The savings on emission in theory is great and all but reality is different. Not to mention battery production requires massive amounts of mining to get the materials needed.

Anything that promotes increased consumption is not good for the enviornment or society. Mass solar, wind, & battery production require massive amounts of materials thus all increase consumption.

Geothermal energy is the only 24/7 renewable that can provide base power to the grid. Plus it can provide heat to homes and businesses thus reducing power consumption.

Fixed bed nuclear is another technology that significantly reduces consumption, doesnt have the nuclear waste issue, & can desalinate water. Thus this tech can provide power and water. Its small, portable, and great for micro grid setups.

Having said that, reducing pollution, as we saw last year, will increase warming not decrease it.

No one has proven SUA in a Tesla vehicle leading to an accident, Many people have assumed they experienced SUA in a Tesla, but it turned out to be driver error, Many people have assumed they experienced SUA in non-Tesla vehicles, but it turned out to be driver error.

The NHTSA Tesla “Sudden Unintended Acceleration” Petition was Created By A TSLA Short Seller Who Doesn’t even Own A Tesla.

Furthermore, if you wreck a Tesla worth $40,000–140,000, there’s a good chance you want to find a way for insurance to cover the damage without penalizing you for driver error and also not have your wife think you’re a moron who can’t have nice things. “The car did it by itself! I swear!”

The false claims of Sudden Acceleration problem are not unique to Tesla. There are 1000,s of such complaints filed every year with all major auto makers. They originated back to the 1950s or earlier. (Most likely, the problem stems back to the first vehicle with an accelerator pedal.) As I understand it, from way back then to today, the vast majority of SUA claims come from people who, it is later determined, accidentally stepped on the accelerator pedal.

NHTSA / NTSB sided with Elon Musk and Tesla

Tesla blasts customer complaints of sudden unintended acceleration as 'completely false' Tesla says customer complaints that its cars may suddenly accelerate on their own are "completely false." "This petition is completely false and was brought by a Tesla short-seller," the company said in a statement Monday.

In the end Tesla does not have a unintended acceptation problem and never did. People have been filing fraudulent claims since the 1950,s and this wont stop. There are an equal number of complaints that come in for all of the major auto makers per year regarding the same issue and Like Tesla there all thrown out in the garbage.

The number of complaints filed on Tesla per year only document proof of the amount of irresponsible drivers there are that use pedal mis application.

People who claim they have evidence that can show Tesla is at fault via APP sensor errors due to voltage depression are liars and spreading false " CONSPIRACY THEORIES" about Tesla.

If they had any evidence they would be filing a claim with the NHTSA / NTSB and not making excuses as to why they can't.
