my suspicion is that MJLB's ELD device has been approved for weeks now, but it can't make a public announcement about it. I'm figuring that the Canadian govt might not want any company to leave the blocks early -- well before its competitors -- and thereby gain an unfair advantage in the contest due to the certification process. It's just a hunch. But it would explain why MJLB has already printed the ELD manuals.
