Not sure if you've done much shorting. Do you understand that just because someone wanted to short VTSI last week at $8, $9 or $10...doesn't mean they can. Because there has to be short shares available. And I highly doubt there were ANY shares available for shorting at those prices. Even now, I'm showing zero short shares available on VTSI at Fidelity & Schwab.
