yeah, I feel sorry for those who weren't there from the first pivot from bbooths to bnotify, and didn't have the benefit of a long string of hopes raised and then dashed to draw on for making choices. From that standpoint I was lucky to have developed quite a bit of skepticism before the massive rise that took so many in early in 2018.

Others just weren't so lucky unfortunately. The MLM Entourage (Hawaii trip) failure (which even I got caught up believing for a couple of weeks!) followed by the Oracle PR that never happened were strong clues but so hard to see without the benefit of hindsight given the string of pumping and weekly radio shows going on at the time.

They were also a gold mine for upset people that got screwed by Rory to bring lawsuits against Rory and Verb, just like the Oracle lawsuit Verb had to settle on with investors.

This is wrong on many levels, but hey it makes a good "story".

It was anything but a gold mine for those that sued VERB as they received next to nothing.

VERB didn't have to settle. Both parties agreed to settle. That's how it is done when reaching a settlement, so one could also say that the upset people had to settle to get any sort of payout from VERB.
