So are you disputing the reporting accuracy or disputing the research?

I have no bone to pick, you are entitled to your beliefs. I prefer to see a preponderance of research to spending a lot of time reading repetitive papers. So, my point was that there is very substantial protection a couple weeks after the first shot, is that what you have the problem with, or have you read something else credible you can point to?

I am not trying to pick a battle, as you are a rational poster. I really do want to know the best information and you seemed to controvert it with some un-specified information. For just arguing for the hell of it, there are more than enough uninformed trumpsters here to keep a person busy for a decade.

He didn't read the fine print.

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are likely 80% effective against symptomatic COVID-19 after one dose.

But it is not like it happens over night. It takes a while for the vaccine to do it's work as you posted and we have also discussed.

So in between shots you still need to play defense. And even after the second shot you still need to play defense while the vaccine does it's work again.

But the unknowns still are can you get the covid while being fully vaccinated.

Perhaps but this time you may not die since both PFE and MRNA work to a degree on the variants.

Thinking that we are out of the woods is a story for Little Red Riding Hood.

Until people with brains are fully vaccinated this will continue to be an ongoing problem.
