Nor did either of you understand what I was asking for. A link to a credible source or the "scientific journals" to back up some of the stuff many of us have heard about but based on some loose information. I could parse some of what you said but it would serve no purpose other than start an argument. All I was looking for was just any refinements to known science and ongoing research. Instead of attacking the article I posted and offering nothing in place of it other than a guy's opinion that we have all heard 10 times.

I get asked a lot about this topic in real life and wanted to have places to point to other than word of mouth. Today, it seems everyone is a Fauci without portfolio this thread, but if all we have is "people are saying" then it leaves it open to deniers. Still no links from either of you. Impressive. The regulars on here give each other a lot of room on being truthful and accurate, in this case I was asking for information not to bust someone's ass but to find out more in-depth information. If we have a guy that reads the specific research papers, cool, but where are they? Most science doesn't require being in a magician's union or else it has to be kept a secret. All I get is no actual answer other than personal crap and some stuff that has been repeated a lot, which as we know, doesn't necessarily make it accurate.

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are likely 80% effective against symptomatic COVID-19 after one dose.

That's what I surmised was in the fine print I didn't have access to, without a subscription. Neither was my point about Ab titers in conflict with that conclusion. But when one is in the Desert you see mirages.

There was a reason why PFE, and MRNA didn't declare victory after just one shot. After all the FDA was ready to approve anything at the traditional 50% vaccine efficacy mark.
