He doesn't use any TA's except the few EMA's and MA's. He is big into watching vol. He will always sell half of position after a big gain with a 13ema (I think) cross.
So I have somewhat patterned my trading after what he does, but with my own twist. He has never talked about how much on margin he trades. Since he is trading stocks, I am guessing he stays less than 125-130%. But that is just a guess. For all I know he could be using options and really goosing up the returns. Never heard him talk about his actual results.
So yes maybe his market leaders can out gun its index, but it is a lot of work to track all the stocks that he does.
So to avoid all that work, my plan is to trade the 3x indexes and use leverage. With my TQQQ buy this morning, I am now at 250%. I am in SPXL, TQQQ, TNA, SOXL, and FAS. I would add ARKK if it becomes a buy.
It has been a while since I really tracked him. I think I will start watching him again also to see if I can pick up some new points.
