We have decided to close Coinbook. Thank you for supporting us over the past few years. It's been fun working with our crazy crypto community. In the end it was a combination of running out of runway, a bank that was unpredictable, and the risk of balancing inventory ourselves.

The good news is that we weren't hacked, we didn't lose anyone's money, and we aren't going bankrupt. Everyone can withdraw their coins right away. The bank will pull back funds to the originating accounts so you don't have to worry about that.

So we are the first exchange in history that went down and no one lost anything. There is vocal minority of scammers that will complain that they lost money but it wasn't their money in the first place. Those funds will go back to the originating banks.
