Trying to assess the enterprise value of the company has nothing to do with the share price or the number of shares in the wild. You can look at book value, EPS, whatever you want and then assign a P/E or "blue sky" to the number you arrive at.

It seems like everyone is hyper focused on "shares" and "share price" and forget to remember that there needs to be a tangible business supporting the share price.
If your investing you should have some idea of what you think the business is worth.
If you're trading why waste the oxygen bitching? Digest the news, make your trades and move on because fundamentals don't matter.
