You bet NF buddy! 1 of the wisest Canadian shorting groups I ever stumbled across about 16 or 17 years ago explained that whole game to me ok.

But contrary to the idiots that accuse me of being a supposed short just because I'm Canadian, I've never gone that route on any OTC pubco over my entire 30 year trading career...even though I know plenty who do.

I pretended to be interested in opening a Calgary notorious b/d shorting firm way back then...and simply used their intel against them to help educate us good guy joe retailers who don't want the dirty mm's lending out our investment grade shares to dirty shorts.
