Agree completely. As a doctoral student I worked with med students and they were terrible when it comes to science. They just wanted to know what to do and would get impatient if something didn't work. They didn't understand that a lot of good ideas don't work out and they really don't understand the concept of false positives. Really when it comes to new drugs then any physician with the ability to think for themselves would never have prescribed oxycontin as a non-addictive alternative. It's silly. But they were told it is so they said okay. Doctors are nortoriously bad at science
