Good thought. Like “College of statisticians” or some such. We should have thought of this before. Oh well, that Dr. Jarvis seems awesome. Well written. Mark Twain said something to the effect that there “are lies, DAMN LIES, and STATISTICS”. But in this matter...the mathematical approach and underlying mathematics are quite clear. Maybe...just maybe...judge du will see the light. As a human being and rising judge...I would not want to be overturned by Supreme Court. You all gave her an out. Would be wonderful if she took it rather than face the possibility of being overturned. Low low probability, but not zero.

That's correct. Judges do not always render their ruling on the return date. They often reserve to a later date.

That is a very good point. Dr Bhatt may be conflicted but his paper on statistics is black and white, it is not an opinion piece. Would have been great to introduce it via Amicus to the SC.
