Ok, then, tell that to my niece who works at Google and her husband who works in software development. Both told me, so call BS on them, since you know better. Without actually knowing anything about it.

Companies want to be able to make sure that employees are using work time to work. Of course there's security software installed, they're not allowed to add extra.

I seriously doubt they said don't load security s/w that blocks keylogging - that would put their company work at risk and can be compromised.

That just makes absolutely ZERO sense!



Makes perfect sense, you dont let your end users install anything. End users are the weakest link. Software and especally security software is installed by your system admins. Have permissions set so any tom dick and harry can't install software is like step 2 in corporate cybersecurity!
