For those that have never had a lipid panel : blood test . Your face is roughly 3 ft away from the person drawing your blood in a clinic with other patients . Not something many were eager to do as Covid raged .
Now that more over 65 are vaccinated ... they should feel more comfortable going for a blood draw if needed May take awhile but cholesterol / TG tests should build back to pre Covid levels
HK diabetics not only need trigs >150 but also two other risk factors and maximum statin therapy - thats generally not hard to do because being on statin they by definition have HYpercholesterolenemia and almost all DM2 are on an ACE so one can cite HTN
