Lightrock: The issue of reporting, then not reporting, then reporting the 118 was likely a recommendation from counsel during the lawsuit. That’s it.

The “not enough events” concern surfaced late in 2016 after all 928 were enrolled. And more than a year passed before the trial resumed and the request to add more enrollees was dropped. At that time they had roughly two years of data on the new enrollees.

It was an issue of cost too. How much more cost to expand the study to speed up the Endpoint date.
