Yup, it's huge all right - doesn't matter, docs and patients won't be aware of that research - 25% reduction of MACE isn't good enough either - COVID killed all the momentum we were building with R-IT approval, sales have stagnated - clearly the sales reps are not reaching new docs to educate them about V and R-IT.
Question for you docs with practices - how exactly do you handle contact with an new unknown sales rep wanting to talk to you about a drug you've never heard of? And during the pandemic, would you really take the time to accept an invite from the rep for a Zoom call? When I saw my PCP last year his office was empty, would think he'd have plenty of time for Zoom calls. Conversely, I've seen two orthos and one podiatrist since last Oct. after severely injuring my left foot on a golf trip** and they were busy as hell - I assume cardios are still busy too?
** If any of you have experience treating Morton's Neuromas I'm all ears - every fricking doc I've seen has contradicted the others, shot of cortisone actually made it worse, trying MLS laser therapy next week, but if that doesn't work I have no idea who to believe for what is the next best step - all I know is surgery has a horrible failure rate.
