Ramfan60, I really don't know if a BP would want to do that or not do that
for fear of getting into some type of trouble with the SEC. Maybe such
tactics would work for a hostile bidder. In the current situation if there
was BO interest by any BP, I would think that JT would agree to some sort
of an exclusivity agreement where AMRN could not negotiate with any other
party in return for a good faith effort to get a premium deal from the
buyer. "If" there were any interested suitors I would imagine they would
want to close an acquisition as quickly as possible so they could begin
sales as soon as possible. Perhaps they would wait for an official
approval so they would know exactly what the label will be. That begs the
question that once final EMA approval is granted, will it open up a
bidding war? Or, will there be one BP who negotiated an exclusivity
agreement which would lock out any other bidders? Of course, maybe
there is zero interest from BP (an alternative which I highly doubt.)
