It could have because any potential announcement about assets or a pending distribution, Coffee could have used it as direct evidence to support the appeal.
Of course BR was going to state that the process would not be delayed because the LT was always going to be dissolved by March 2021.
What would be delayed, if it was to happen, is PAYMENT to Escrows in order to prevent that action from being used by in court as evidence.
Even now, if an announcement is made about a distribution, Coffee could, and IMO would, try to appeal and receive $upport from the believers.
It will end in the same outcome, ie FAILURE, and as such the easiest way to officially end the process is by informing the court, if such is possible.
NOTE: Still do not believe assets are left and that our only hope for recovery is an FDIC Libor settlement.
