Yes.. you might get lucky and it would gap up and maybe you get $4.00 instead of $3.00

but if this happens tomorrow, we are not opening at $4.00.

Market makers know about all the sell offers. There are plenty of shares for anyone who wants them at $1, $2, $3 that I highly doubt there are going to be people putting in bids of $4.00 to start the day, knowing how many 10's of millions of shares are on sale for less than that.

So getting $4. Possible... yes. Would I could on it? No.

Also.. if it happens mid-day... then what looks like a 'gap' might just be a couple of minutes where computers rapid buy all the cheap shares before moving up past your price without any actual 'gaps'.
